Anti-Doping Policy
The Orienteering Association of Hong Kong (“OAHK”) believes that legal compliance, honesty, integrity and fair play are its important assets. OAHK is committed to the principles of anti-doping and forbidden the use of performance enhancing drugs and doping practices in order to preserve the important values of fair play in orienteering.
Being a member of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (“SF&OC”) and the International Orienteering Federation (“IOF”), on 30th November, 2009, the OAHK signed an agreement with SF&OC undertake to adopt the SF&OC’s Anti-Doping Rules and the IOF’s Anti-Doping Rules. Both of the SF&OC and IOF adopt the latest World Anti-Doping Code (“the Code”) of the World Anti-Doping Agency. Under the agreement, the OAHK abide by and support these Anti-Doping Rules as a result of the OAHK’s commitment to the purposes of the World Anti-Doping Programme.
