Re         :      12^th Mr Birney Memorial Orienteering Event

Due to the Typhoon Signal No. 3 was hoisted on 25 September 2005, the Mr. Birney Memorial Orienteering Event will be postponed to 2 October 2005. Competition venue, starting time of all competitors and other details will remain unchanged. The competition fee will not be refunded to those who cannot participate on 2 October 2005.

If any of the following: 1) Thunderstorm Warning,  2) Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above,   3) Red or Black Rainstorm Signal is in force at or before 6:00 hours on 2 October 2005, the event will be cancelled. No make up competition will be arranged and the competition fee will not be refunded.

If any of the following: 1) Thunderstorm Warning,  2) Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above   3) Red or Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted during the event on 2 October 2005, the competition will be suspended immediately. All competitors must report to the Finish immediately. No make up competition will be arranged and the competition fee will not be refunded.
