| Event | The model event provides an opportunity to acclimatize to the climate and terrain of | ||||||||
| Hong Kong. The area also provides a spectacular view of the Tsing Ma Bridge | |||||||||
| which is a popular tourist attraction. It is recommended to bring along your camera | |||||||||
| to take some mangnificent photos of the Tsing Ma Bridge along the course. | |||||||||
| Control settings, start and finish procedure will be similar to all APOCevents.You will | |||||||||
| get the map for model event at the Event Centre. | |||||||||
| The topography and rock features of the model area are similar to all APOC | |||||||||
| events while the vegetation only resembles that of the APOC Relay area. | |||||||||

| It take about 5 minutes to walk from Cheung Wang Bus Terminal to the Event Centre. | |||||||||

| About the area | Some slopes inside the competition area are quite steep and slippery. Please be | ||||||||
| careful! There are many types of vegetation inside the competition area. The | |||||||||
| runnability of some areas become higher after trimming of the trees and grasses | |||||||||
| and some of the areas are quite stony under the vegetation. Be careful. | |||||||||
| Some of the slopes become more slippery after trimming of grasses. | |||||||||
| The area is very popular with hikers during Holidays. Be careful when running | |||||||||
| along the hiking paths and do not bump into the hikers. | |||||||||
| Some paths are covered by fallen leaf and become unobvious. | |||||||||
