Transportation
1. Competitors are required to arrange their own transport to the Event Center.
2. Competitors must take the ferry from Wong Shek Pier to Competition area ‘Wan Chai’. Competitors are not allowed to walk to Wan Chai via Hoi Ha and Lan Lo Au as you will enter the competition area prior to your start and will lead to disqualification.

4. Competitors must take the ferry if leave the event centre before the closure of competition venue at 1445 hours.
Event Centre
1. The event centre is located at Wan Tsai (South) Camp Site (G.R. 50QKK265863)
2. Competitors must collect the number cloth and back-up labels at the event centre.
3. There are public toilet.
4. Official time will be displayed.
5. No leave luggage service will be provided, please don’t bring any valuable with you.
6. Please keep the Event Centre clean and take all rubbish away.
7. Fire should not be started at no fire area.
8. Physiotherapy service will be provided.
9. Competitors are not allowed to enter the competition area prior to his/her start and after his/her race.
START procedures
1. It takes 5 - 10 minutes from Event Centre to START. (about 300M walk)
2. Please arrive at the START 10 minutes before the start time.
3. Please ensure that compass, whistle and E-card are ready for checking.
4. A “2-minute box” zone is employed and the START clock shows the start time. Competitor’s number will be announced. Please enter the “first box” when your start time is shown.
5. Please enter the last box and place the E-card on the start at least 10 seconds before the start signal. Upon hearing the last beep of the start signal, you can pick up your map and check whether you get the correct map. Don’t stay at the Start.
6. Latecomers must report to the late-start official at the late-start lane. Time lost will not be compensated.
Information on competition venue and map
1. The southwestern part part is mainly rough open land with good runnability while the northeastern part is mainly afforestation area.
2. Cattle trails in the terrain are not marked on the map.
3. You are strongly advised to wear long trousers for the best protection of your body.
4. Water point will be shown on the map.
5. Dry ditch of 0.5-1m depth will not marked on the map. Be careful when crossing them especially when being covered by dense vegetation (please refer to the attached photo).

2. Map change is required for both courses.
3. The competition time limit is 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes)。
4. IOF descriptions will be available at the Pre-1 minute zone of the Start.
FINISH procedures and Result processing
1. You must report to the FINISH within 150 minutes whether your course is completed, whether your E-card is lost, otherwise you are considered “Missing”.
2. When reaching the finish line, you must punch your E-card at the finish unit which records your course completion time. Please hand in your back-up label to the finish official before leaving the FINISH.
3. You are not allowed to return to the competition area after leaving the FINISH and must head for result processing at the event centre.
4. Maps will not be collected and it is against OL rules and ethnics to disclose the map to competitors who have not yet started.
5. The Finish is located at the event centre.
FINISH
1. At finish, “punch” the electronic control card at the “finish unit”, that time will be recorded as finish time. Please hand in the back up label to the Finish Officials.
2. Competitors should follow the instruction to the Results Processing counter to download the results. Competitors who did not download the results within 20 minutes after the completion of the course will lead to disqualification.
Competition rules
1. No aids other than maps provided and equipment items permitted by organizer should be used.
2. Loss of E-card is considered as DNF and you are required to report to the FINISH or EVENT CENTRE.
3. To facilitate the flow of the competition and for your safety, you are required to report to the FINISH or event centre within 150 minutes regardless of course incompletion, otherwise “Missing” will be counted.
4. All rules and regulations must be well observed and obeyed.
5. Organiser has the right to amend any regulations without prior notice and all amendments will be displayed at the event centre on the competition day.
6. Violation of competition rules and regulations will lead to disqualification.
Complaint & Protest
2. Protests raised against the jury’s decision shall be made in writing to the organizer within 30 minutes after the release of the jury’s decision.
E-punching and timing
1. EMIT EPTS will be employed for this event.
2. Competitors should bring their own e-cards which completed in the entry form. In case competitors forget to take electronic control card, they need to pay $50 rental fee and $250 deposit, which will be refundable when card returned. (Spare cards are limited and will be served on a first-come-first-serve basis).
Remarks
1. Any change in this Event Information will be displayed at the event centre on the day of the competition.
2. You shall be responsible for your own safety and legal responsibility.
3. If a thunderstorm warning, any rainstorm warning or a NO. 3 or above tropical cyclone warning signal is in effect at 07:00 on the competition day, this event will be cancelled and you will be informed of the arrangement through the OAHK official website http://www.oahk.org.
