Anti-Doping Policy
The Orienteering Association of Hong Kong (“OAHK”) believes that legal compliance, honesty, integrity and fair play are its important assets.  OAHK is committed to the principles of anti-doping and forbidden the use of performance enhancing drugs and doping practices in order to preserve the important values of fair play in orienteering.

Being a member of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (“SF&OC”) and the International Orienteering Federation (“IOF”), on 30 November, 2009, the OAHK signed an agreement with SF&OC undertake to adopt the SF&OC’s Anti-Doping Rules and the IOF’s Anti-Doping Rules.  Both of the SF&OC and IOF adopt the latest World Anti-Doping Code (“the Code”) of the World Anti-Doping Agency.  Under the agreement, the OAHK abide by and support these Anti-Doping Rules as a result of the OAHK’s commitment to the purposes of the World Anti-Doping Programme.

In this connection, we would like to draw our members' attention to the OAHK adoption of these anti-doping rules and request for their support.  All members shall get themselves familiar with the following anti-doping rules to avoid unintentional breaching of these rules, in particular when those who are prepared for taking part in competition events as an athlete, a coach or team official.  Please refer to the documents below for more information about the requirements.

Violation of the above Anti-Doping Rules will be subjected to disciplinary actions of the OAHK and those of the respective governing organization.
